Marker One Marina Under New Ownership

Dunedin, FL: Marker One Marina is now under new ownership. Coastal Marina Management will now operate the popular 400-plus slip marina, located on Florida's west coast just north of Clearwater. Coastal Marina Management's Scott Burt says, "We are looking forward to working with the existing clients at Marker One to improve their interaction with the marina. And we're also going to work hard to improve the marina's services and overall reputation, especially within the fishing community." Burt anticipates having a new management team in place at Marker One immediately, headed by industry veteran Steve Arndt. "Steve will bring a strong improvement in the services offered to the customers of Marker One," Burt reports. "From expanding the hours of operation for the fuel dock to improving the offerings of the ship's store, we are revamping the entire culture [of Marker One] to be as customer-friendly as possible. That's our ultimate goal."
